SUFFIXES

1. To change meaning or the way of use:

PORT (to carry)	Transport	Portable	transportable
SIGN (a mark)	Resign	Signing	Resigning

2. Noun suffixes turn root words into nouns:  -er; -ist; -ness; -ment

Drum – drummer	Happy - happiness
Cycle – cyclist	Argue - argument

3. Adjective suffixes turn root words adjectives:  -en;  -ing;   -ed.

Flat

Flatten

Flattening

Flattened

Ex: He will flatten the box to make it fit.

4. Adverb suffixes turn root words into adverbs: -ly.

True -> truly

Mad -> madly

Deep -> deeply.

She is truly a good student. Romeo and Juliet were madly in love.

b. replay =

b. CLOCKWISE =

clockwise | ˈklɒkwʌɪz | adverb & adjective in a curve corresponding in direction to the typical forward movement of the hands of a clock: [as adverb] :  turn the knob clockwise | [as adjective] : a clockwise direction.

ANTI-CLOCKWISE = anticlockwise | antɪˈklɒkwʌɪz | adverb & adjective British in the opposite direction to the way in which the hands of a clock move round: [as adverb] :  stopcocks are opened by turning them anticlockwise | [as adjective] :  an anticlockwise direction.

ANTI - anti | ˈanti | informal preposition opposed to; against: I'm anti the abuse of drink and the hassle that it causes.  2 Physics the antiparticle of a specified particle: antiproton. 

c.  zero | ˈzɪərəʊ | cardinal number (plural zeros) no quantity or number; nought; the figure 0 the lowest possible amount or level; nothing at all: I rated my chances as zero.

sub-zero | sʌbˈzɪərəʊ | adjective(of temperature) lower than zero; below freezing: force 10 winds, torrential rain, and sub-zero temperatures.
